In March 2020, we organised a workshop gathering more than 70 participants in Paris
for the first edition of the Bayesian deep learning for cosmology and gravitational waves workshop. The workshop was held
on three days and was composed of invited talks, tutorials, round tables and contribution talks.
This workshop was very successful as it gathered people from different academic fields (cosmology, gravitational waves and computer science)
as well as from private companies (Google, Microsoft, Graphcore, LightOn) resulting in very interesting discussions and
even in collaborations.
The enthousiasm around the applications of Bayesian deep learning to cosmology or gravitational waves as well as the
very encouraging feedbacks from the participants made us decide to organise a second version of this workshop. It was
supposed to happen in 2021 but was postponed due to the pandemic. However, it should finally happen before the summer 2022.
